Arts, Beats & Eats is back in downtown Royal Oak this Labor Day weekend, Friday to Monday, August 29 to September 1, 2025. Think nine music stages, a juried fine art show, and a huge lineup of Metro Detroit eats, all in a walkable footprint.

What to do and see

• Art: A top-tier juried show with artists from around the country. Great browsing during the day; Monday wraps earlier than the weekend.

• Beats: 200-plus acts across multiple stages. Pick a couple must-see sets ahead of time so you’re not sprinting between stages.

• Eats: Dozens of restaurants and food trucks. Share plates as you go so you can try more without one long line.

• Events: There’s a whole lot more to do, including dedicated kids areas, daytime performances, a carnival zone and more.

When and where

• Hours: Fri–Sun 11 AM–11 PM; Mon 11 AM–9 PM

• The festival spans downtown Royal Oak centered on Washington Avenue. Grab the event map before you go.

Tickets and entry

• Save time with advance online admission. Kids under 3 are free.

Getting there
