The Holiday Stroll at Canterbury Village returns to Lake Orion this weekend, turning the historic village into a walk-through Christmas experience with towering trees, whimsical snowmen, choreographed light shows, holiday characters, professional carolers, and a beautiful nativity scene. The stroll wraps up at the C-Pub patio, where guests can warm up with a hot drink or snack. The event runs November 28 through December 23, with tickets starting at $15 at Canterbury Village.
Wayne County Lightfest is lighting up Hines Park this season, inviting visitors to enjoy a magical 5-mile drive filled with 50 animated displays and more than 100,000 lights without ever leaving the car. Halfway through, guests can pull into Perrin Park for food trucks, restrooms, and photo opportunities before continuing the route. The Lightfest runs November 20 through December 24, with admission starting at $5 at Hines Park.
Meadow Brook Hall invites the public to experience Holiday Walk and Winter Wonder Lights this weekend, offering two ways to soak in the season. By day, Holiday Walk showcases the historic 110-room mansion in full yuletide décor with more than 50 sparkling Christmas trees and cozy fireplaces throughout. After dark, Winter Wonder Lights transforms the estate’s outdoor grounds into a glowing wonderland with hundreds of lights. Magic of Lights is transforming Pine Knob Music Theatre into a drive-through winter wonderland this season, featuring more than two million twinkling lights. Families can cruise past classic holiday scenes like the 12 Days of Christmas along with crowd favorites such as the Bigfoot Monster Truck and Mattel’s Waving Christmas Barbie. The event runs November 21 through January 3, with admission starting at $28.55 and tickets available online only.
Blake’s Holiday Extravaganza brings a full lineup of seasonal fun to Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill over two festive weekends. The celebration kicks off November 21 with U-Cut and Pre-Cut Christmas trees, continues with a tree lighting ceremony on November 22, and also features Blake’s Holiday Hustle 5K Run and Walk along with other family-friendly activities. The event runs November 21–23 and 28–30 with free entry at Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill.
Glenlore Trails is lighting up the season with Aurora: Winter Wizards, an immersive nighttime walk that returns this weekend. Visitors follow a glowing forest trail while joining the fight against “The Gloom,” described as a creeping chill threatening the spirit of the season. The interactive experience runs November 21 through December 28, with general admission tickets priced at $25 and discounts available for children, seniors, and large groups.
