Metro Detroit Weekend Events

The 73rd Annual Detroit Autorama returns to Huntington Place (formerly Cobo) in downtown Detroit from Friday, February 27 through Sunday, March 1, 2026, bringing “America’s Greatest Hot Rod Show” back to the Motor City. The multi-day indoor showcase features hundreds of meticulously built hot rods, customs, muscle cars, and motorcycles from across the country and beyond, celebrating the craftsmanship and creativity behind car culture. Candlelight: The Lord of the Rings comes to Detroit on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 8:45 p.m. at Christ Church Detroit, offering a 60-minute, candlelit tribute to the trilogy’s iconic score performed by a string quartet.
