Northville’s story is still evolving. A centerpiece of that future is the transformation of the former Northville Downs horse racing track into a vibrant new mixed-use community called The Downs. Spanning 48 acres, the development will feature single-family homes, townhouses, apartments, and condominiums alongside retail, dining, and commercial spaces — plus 15 acres of public parks and green space. It’s slated for completion in 2027, and it will connect seamlessly with the walkable, historic downtown Northville is known for.
